Problem:
Faxes concerning logistical information, including bills of lading, were handled manually and
not available on-line. This resulted in human error, missed instructions and shipping delays.
Solution:
Imperial developed a custom product for Global, called "Fax-in-a-Box." This product monitored incoming
faxes and automatically routed them into folders that users could browse and forward to their agents in the Far East.
Result:
Faxes were handled automatically with minimal human intervention. This reduced the cost of
errors, improved customer service and provided low-cost document management that improved worker
productivity.
